COMPANY HISTORY

SRM Construction, Inc.is a Commercial General Contractor located in Columbia, TN. The company was originally founded in 1975 as Elias Construction, Inc and purchased in 2004 by the owner, Jerry Hodges. Jerry has over 30 year’s construction management experience having managed the construction of projects, such as, prisons, production facilities, day schools, churches, retail centers for several national clients (Home Depot, Bassett Furniture, Rooms to Go and more) ,as well as, other types of projects.

The company’s team of managers, supervisors and field personnel has developed a reputation of professionalism and competency. Our project‘s owners satisfaction and repeat business give illustration to that reputation.

Our reputation and strengths are derived from the successfully completed projects in ground up Office, Retail, Religious, Medical, Light Industrial, Warehouse, Agricultural, Pre-School, Recreational and Exterior & Interior Renovations. Our team of construction professionals understand the overall goals of project compliance, project quality and on-time delivery. Our focus is to understand the building function and matching that with the owner’s budget.

In addition, our use of best practices provides us with a high accountability and safety record with no reportable incidents.
